Questions operators ask first
Short answers about branches, billing, collection, and getting started. More detail is on the product page.
Who is ISPOS for?
Cable television operators, broadband providers, and multi-branch networks that bill customers every month and collect in the field. It is built for the operator’s office and for the staff who visit homes.
Can one operator run more than one branch?
Yes. Branches and areas stay separate. Collection agents and technicians can be limited to the branches they are assigned, while the operator admin sees the whole network.
Does it handle cable packages and internet plans together?
Yes. Channels are grouped into packages, and a subscription can add extra channels on top. Internet plans live in their own catalog. A customer can carry cable, broadband, or both.
How do previous dues and payments stay in one place?
Each customer has a running ledger. Bills and previous dues are debits. Payments and advances are credits. The statement shows the balance after every entry, for one customer or for the whole selection.
Can a customer pay more than this month’s bill?
Yes. The extra amount is kept as an advance. It reduces the next bill instead of sitting in a separate notebook.
Can collection staff work without internet?
After a staff member has signed in, customer and collection lists stay available on the phone. Payments taken offline sync when the connection returns.
Can I download a statement?
Yes. Transactions can be filtered by branch, date, type, or one customer, then downloaded as a spreadsheet with debit, credit, balance, and receipt details.
How do I start?
Create an operator account, add a branch, then add customers or import the ones you already have. Billing and collection use that same customer list.
